GiveWay Yield Sign I’ve been a David Zabriskie fan for some time now.  He is arguably the best time trialer ever and his interviews are some of the best in all of professional sports.  Then I was thumbing through the latest issue of Bicycling Magazine last week and I came across the article about his new Yield 2 Life Campaign.  Now I like him even more.

The article in Bicycling mentions the fact that Zabriskie has been hit by cars 3 times here in the U.S. and not once while abroad.  So he has started this organization to educate drivers and cyclists to hopefully make a difference and improve the safety of our roads.

The Yield 2 Life campaign is really just getting started.  I e-mailed them to try and get a banner or logo that I could use in this post.  They thanked me for wanting to support them and said that they are working on getting web banners created.  They do have a very nice web site setup and some good information on there.

I’m looking forward to this campaign growing.  With a top level American cyclist like Dave Zabriskie behind it there will surely be support from the other American cyclists as well.  With the sport of cycling growing in the U.S. and more cyclists getting on the road this is sure to turn into a great movement.

So go check out Yield 2 Life and support this campaign.  They have several tiers of support.  You can even get a Yield 2 Life jersey autographed by Dave Zabriskie.  I know I’ll be making a contribution.
