These past few weeks I have been busy with work and training for some up coming criterium races I’m going to ride in so I haven’t put together a good post. Tonight I thought I would post some information about some of the races and rides that I’m riding in or my friends are talking about going to.
- The 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month is the Time Trail ride that starts at the church parking lot next to Skyline Elementary School in Sedalia MO at 6 p.m. For directions and more ride details contact Ebby at Pro-Velo.
- On every other Wednesday night that there is not a Time Trial, there is a group ride that leaves from Pro-Velo at 6 p.m. and rides to Cole Camp Missouri and back. It is roughly a 40 mile ride with moderate to low hills. For more details also contact Ebby at Pro-Velo.
- Some of the local guys are planning a trip to ride the 16th Annual Flint Hills Death Ride July 28 and 29 in Madison Kansas. This is a roughly 70+ mile back county mountain bike ride that roughly half the people that start do not finish. It should be an awesome time. For more details about this ride check out the web site.
- The first race of the year that I will be riding in will be the Tour of Soulard Criterium in St. Louis July 15. You can pre-register for the race at www.2wheeltech.com
