My good buddy Matt Moulton of MattTheMan.com (who has
yet to really do anything with his web site) finished 2nd this past Sunday at the Show Me State Games Midwest Fat Tire Series mountain bike race at Rock Bridge State Park in Columbia Missouri in the mens 20-29 beginner class. He finished only 12 seconds behind 1st and didn’t know how close he was until the official times were posted.

Matt is also going to be featured as the athlete of the week in the Sedalia News Journal that will hit the stands on August 16th.

Matt is a local hopeful for the Sedalia Historic District Criterium and Otterville Road Race. Last summer Matt was caught up in a multi-rider crash at the start finish line of the Sedalia Crit when he was riding in 3rd position after leading much of the race with only 6 laps to go.

TJ McNamara also finished in 2nd place at the Show Me State Games race and is currently in 2nd place overall in Midwest Fat Tire Series points for the Men’s Beginner 30-39 class. Dan Holt also competed in the Men’s Sport 40-49 class event but I ran short on time and haven’t seen him since the half way point of the race to find out how he finished.

All 3 guys were sporting the Pro-Velo Cycle Sport, Lamm Technical Resources, Dan Pilliard CPA, Total Fitness Gym team kit (I’m working on my NASCAR Sponsor podium pitch).

Great Job guys.
