UPDATE III: The new corrected Otterville Road Race Flyers are up. You can download them at the bottom of this post.

UPDATE II: There has been a bit of a mix up with the entry fees for the Otterville Race. The fees that are on the original flyer are not correct. New flyers are being made at this time. As soon as the new flyer is available I will post the corrected flyer on the site with another update to this post. Sorry for any confusion this may cause.

UPDATES: The official race flyers have been added to this post so click the links below to get the flyers with the official details. Also the rider release is included with the flyer so you can fill it out ahead of time so you can get throught the lines quicker at registratration. Just print it and bring it with you.

I have been brought on board as a co-promoter for the 3rd annual Sedalia Historic District Criterium race and the inagural Otterville Road Race. Ebby at Pro-Velo Cycle Sport has put on the Sedalia Historic Distric Criterium the last 2 years and is the primary person behind both of these races this year. With adding the second race he doubled his work load so I’m going to be helping him out any way I can.

Saturday August 25th - Sedalia Historic District Criterium

Race Details:
The 0.7 mile race course is a long rectangle with the Start/Finish line right in front of the court house in down town Sedalia on Ohio Ave. The race goes South on Ohio then right on 6th St. North on Osage then right on 2nd St. Then right again back onto Ohio. Ohio is slightly up hill and Osage is slightly downhill. The course is very fast and makes for great sprint finishes coming up the hill on the long straight.

I spent last summer training for and racing in several criteriums across Missouri. My primary race wheel set of choice was and still is the Rolf Prima Echelon Wheel Set.

Rolf is a leader in the bicycle wheel industry producing quality wheels that perform well without killing your budget. Before purchasing the Echelons I tried several other wheel sets. The Echelons simply out perform the other comparable wheels. Weighing in at just 1640 grams with the taller, more aero, rim and flat aero 16/20 spoke configuration, this wheel set is hard to beat. Some of the wheels that would be considered comparable either had more spokes and more weight or didn’t have the aerodynamics that the Echelons have. These wheels are stiff too. You can get out of the saddle and sprint without feeling the flex that you get with some other wheels. Plus these wheels are all hand built in Eugene Oregon.

I bought my wheels at Pro-Velo Cycle Sport
